Cardamom futures remain up, add 0.52% on rising demand

Cardamom prices advanced 0.52 per cent to Rs 1,190 per kg in futures market today as speculators raised their bets after a firm trend at spot market.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in October month went up by Rs 6.10, or 0.52 per cent to Rs 1,190 per kg in business turnover of 3 lot.

Analayts said widening of positions by traders on the back of rising demand in spot market against restricted arrivals from producing belts mainly kept cardamom prices higher at futures trade.
