"We call for immediate scrapping of Walmart-Flipkart deal. To send a strong note of dissent against such policies of the government, we have decided to observe Bharat trade bandh on 28th of September, if this deal is not scrapped," Vice President CAIT and President of Chamber of Traders Federation Jammu Neeraj Anand told reporters here today.

The onslaught of deep pocket retail giants like Walmart is a real threat to the existence of small and medium traders, these big capitalist backed entities exploit loopholes in laws and play havoc with local economy to benefit their masters sitting in foreign lands, Anand added.

Sharing details of the program chalked out to oppose such deals, he said, "CAIT immediately after electing its New Governing body has decided to launch All India Rath Yatra on 15th of September".
