With an intent to offer toxin-free childhood to their little ones, three college friends and young moms Surya Prabha, Sakthipriyadharshini, and Gayathiri founded BeeLittle in 2015. 

“When we wanted to buy products for our babies, it was very difficult to find the quality we wanted in the Indian market. We remember asking our family and friends who live or travel abroad to bring clothes and other products from other countries, the funny part was many of them had a label ‘Manufactured in India’” – recalls Surya Prabha.

The trio then came together to source, design and produce the finest clothes and accessories using natural fibres and organic materials. Tried & tested for quality by families and friends, the brand lets only the flawlessly perfect ones pass through. 

The brand is also known for taking every feedback seriously - using them productively to improve and innovate the range with an aim to deliver only the finest of the products.

Beelittle as a sustainable brand has always believed in the value of traditional comfort, some of their unique range of products include Organic cotton wrap beds with 12 layers of cotton, Thottil kit (One place to start Jhoola for babies), kapok silk products - which is a natural fibre and non-heat generating - curated into feeding pillows, Pillows& bolster sets and bedding sets.

Pre-packed Hospital kit and Newborn essentials kit - the hit product bundles among new moms which is a thoughtful compilation of products and accessories that fulfils every just-born needs. Owing to the outstanding quality and the sassy designs infused with a traditional touch, these products have reserved a permanent spot in every young mom since their launch.

Started with an investment of Rs. 1.5 lakhs (Rs. 50,000 each), the bootstrapped venture has gained trust among the mom community and expects a 30% growth rate every month - the growth that witnesses the gradual yet tremendous response they received from families around the nation.

“We are growing at over 150% and enjoying the process of our expansion - handling the increased volume of orders from beloved moms around the nation, upgrading to a bigger warehouse twice in 7 months and opening our new showroom in Coimbatore. It’s been a no work-off for all three of us (founders) and a few of our team for the past 8 months,” says Surya Prabha.

“The main motive of our start-up is to give 100 percent sustainable products to the babies - all in one place - easing every parent off the pain to find the best” she adds.

Incepted in 2015, the three friends-cum-mothers have been tirelessly delivering the future mommies the most premium, all-natural newborn and toddler clothes, beds and other accessories, in customized designs and sizes during the entire spectrum of their growth and development.

According to Sakthi priyadharshini, “Even our packing covers are made of corn-starch or paper, and we use paper boards/cartons as well, although it works out slightly more expensive than the non-sustainable ones. Nearly 70 percent of the total revenue is through e-commerce and 30 percent through offline stores.”

BeeLittle has an e-commerce website and two offline stores, one each in Coimbatore and Tirupur. The start-up has over one lakh website visitors every month, around 1,800 SKUs and over 70+ products with about 700 variants.

“We are very happy of being one of the most trusted baby brands in India. And hope to do the same in the countries we might step-in in future. We also plan on launching more products for moms for both the pre and postnatal phases. Caressing for babies with products of international standards and quality, we are working towards spreading the word out to more moms and families” concludes Gayathiri.
