Marketmen said rising demand from retailers and stockists against restricted arrivals from overseas markets mainly attributed the rise in almond and its kernel prices.

Almond (California) rose by Rs 200 to Rs 17,300-17,500 per 40 kg. Its kernel also edged up by Rs 5 to Rs 620-630 per kg, respectively.
