Asia continues to be the costliest region for luxury living for the fourth straight year.
The Capital of the Philippines is also one of the most expensive global cities, with a 20th ranking.
The only Indian city that has grabbed a spot on the list is Mumbai, in 18th place.
The position of Tokyo has certainly slipped by a few spots. However, it continued to be in the top 25 list, in 15th position.
Another developing economy that has made the list of the most expensive cities in 2023 is the capital of Indonesia. It is ranked 12th.
A developing economy like Bangkok has become one of the most expensive cities, surpassing Tokyo, in the 11th spot.
The capital of Taiwan has once again made the list of the top 10 most expensive cities. It is ranked eighth.
Dubai made it to the top 10 on the list for the first time and became the seventh-most expensive city in the world.
The city has taken third place on the list of 25 most expensive cities globally.
Shanghai, China's financial hub, has jumped to the second position in the list.
Singapore has become the most expensive city in the world for luxury living for the first time.
