Driving License: अगर आपको ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस बनवाना है या फिर व्हीकल का रजिस्ट्रेशन सर्टिफिकेट बनवाना है तो आपके लिए अच्छी खबर है. इन दोनों कामों के लिए आपको कुछ डॉक्यूमेंट्स प्रूफ की तरह देने होते हैं. आपको नाम, पता, उम्र जैसी डीटेल्स वेरिफाई करानी होती हैं. अब जल्द ही आपको पास ऐसे 30 डॉक्यूमेंट की लिस्ट होगी, जिनमें से किसी भी एक प्रूफ के जरिए लाइसेंस लिया जा सकता है या फिर रजिस्ट्रेशन कराया जा सकता है. पहचान प्रमाण, पते का प्रमाण और आयु प्रमाण के लिए 30 तरह के आईडी डॉक्यूमेंट आधार कार्ड, वोटर आईडी, इंडियन पासपोर्ट, राज्य या केंद्र का सर्विस सर्टिफिकेट कॉमन है, जबकि बाकी आईडी अलग-अलग प्रमाण के लिए मान्य होंगे, जैसे राशन कार्ड, मैरिज सर्टिफिकेट पते के प्रमाण के लिए है तो वही उम्र के प्रमाण के लिए बर्थ सर्टिफिकेट मान्य है. वही पहचान के प्रमाण के लिए पैन कार्ड मान्य है.

सड़क परिवहन मंत्रालय ने ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस और रजिस्ट्रेशन सर्टिफिकेट के लिए मान्य डॉक्युमेंट्स की ड्राफ़्ट लिस्ट जारी की है, जिसमें नाम, पते, उम्र को सत्यापित करने के लिए 30 ID शामिल हैं. इन दस्तावेजों में से किसी एक के प्रूफ़ के जरिए लाइसेंस लिया जा सकता है. मंत्रालय ने इस पर राज्यों समेत सभी स्टेकहोल्डर्स से 10 मई तक सुझाव मांगे हैं. MoRTH का मानना है कि इससे लोगों को आसानी होगी. 30 डॉक्युमेंट्स में ट्रांसजेंडर्स के लिए सरकारों द्वारा जारी सर्टिफिकेट भी मान्य होगा. इस नियम से लोगों को अपनी आयु, पता, नागरिकता आदि साबित करने के कई विकल्प उपलब्ध हो जाएंगे. 

मंत्रालय ने 24 अप्रैल को एक सर्कुलर जारी किया है, जिसमें कहा गया है कि नागरिकों की सुविधा के लिए मंत्रालय एक प्रस्ताव पर काम रहा है, जिसमें ड्राइविंग लाइसेंस और रजिस्ट्रेशन सर्टिफिकेट के लिए प्रूफ ऑफ आईडी, एड्रेस प्रूफ और प्रूफ ऑफ एज/डेट ऑफ बर्थ के लिए सबमिट किए जाने वाले डॉक्यूमेंट्स का दायरा बढ़ाया जा रहा है. इन डॉक्यूमेंट्स की लिस्ट उन डॉक्यूमेंट्स से ली गई है, जो UIDAI आधार अपडेट कराने के लिए मांगता है.
