Washington DC flight operations resume after 'strong odour' triggers ground stop

Operations at several major airports in the Washington, DC region resumed after a temporary ground stop was imposed due to a technical issue at an air traffic control facility. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), US Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy confirmed that the ground stop had been lifted and flight operations were gradually returning to normal.
