Nothing Phone 2 - Processor

One of the biggest upgrades this time is in terms of processor. Nothing Phone (2) is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset - not the latest but quite a capable and reliable performer. Nothing Phone (1) is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+.

Nothing Phone 2 - Design

The second noticeable change is in terms of design. Though it looks similar to Nothing Phone (1) the device has a bigger screen (6.7-inch) and the back is now curved which makes it more comfortable to hold. However, it is slightly heavier, wider and thicker than its predecessor.

Nothing Phone 2 - Display

Nothing Phone 2 has a bigger screen than its predecessor. It has a 6.7-inch display which offers a peak brightness of 1600 nits. It has an adaptive refresh rate of 1Hz-120Hz as compared to 60-120Hz last time. Both front and back are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.

Nothing Phone 2 - Glyph

Nothing Phone 2 has an upgraded glyph interface not just in terms of design but numbers and features as well. This time it has a setup of 11 LEDs with three individually addressable zones. You can use them as a countdown timer, a battery metre indicator, a volume checker and much more.

Nothing Phone 2 - Rear Camera

Nothing Phone 2 comes with the same dual camera setup but the primary camera has been upgraded to a 50MP Sony IMX890 sensor. However, the 50MP ultra-wide camera remains the same. It comes with a new motion capture 2.0 algorithm and 2X super-res zoom. Nothing Phone 2 lets you capture videos in 4K 60fps.

Nothing Phone 2 - Front Camera

One of the biggest upgrades in Nothing Phone 2 is the front camera. It comes with a 32MP sensor as compared to 16MP in its predecessor. The front camera has now a motion photo feature and lets you record videos in 1080p 60fps.

Nothing Phone 2 - Battery

Nothing Phone 2 has a 4,700mAh battery as compared to 4,500mAh in Phone 1. Also, it now supports 45W wired charging. Earlier, it was 33W. The company claimed that user can charge their phone from zero to 50 per cent in under 20 minutes.

Nothing Phone 2 - Transparent USB Type-C Cable

While this is just for aesthetics, still it is a noticeable change. USB Type-C cable included in the Nothing Phone (2) now comes in the company's iconic “transparent design language”. It looks neat and sophisticated, to say the least.
