Uttar Pradesh comes out on top of the list and is the largest wheat-producing state in India. It produces 33949680 tonnes of wheat annually.
Madhya Pradesh is second on the list with an annual wheat production of 22418500 tonnes.
With 14821940 tonnes of wheat produced annually, Punjab is third on the list.
Haryana ranks fourth on the list with an annual wheat production of 10447210 tonnes.
Rajasthan is in fifth spot with an annual wheat production of 9484080 tonnes.
With 6223760 tonnes of wheat produced annually, Bihar comes sixth on the list.
Gujarat takes the seventh position, as it produces 3334240 tonnes of wheat annually.
Maharashtra comes in at number eight position with an annual wheat production of 2473710 tonnes.
Uttarakhand ranks ninth on the list with an annual wheat production of 863600 tonnes.
On the 10th position is West Bengal, with an annual wheat production of 661520 tonnes.
