German luxury automaker - Mercedes-Benz - has launched its all-new EQE electric SUV in the Indian market on Friday, September 15. This marks the company's third electric offering in the country after EQB SUV and EQS sedan.
The company has launched the new electric SUV at a starting price of Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom).
The Mercedes-Benz EQE SUV is loaded with features like 12.3-inch touch-screen panel, panoramic sliding sunroof, wireless charging system, Burmester 3D surround sound system, and much more.
The newly-launched SUV comes with the ability to accelerate from zero to 100 km per hour in 4.9 seconds. It has a range of up to 465 – 550 kms in a single charge.
The car is available in 8 colours - Obsidian Black, Sodalite Blue, Emerald Green, Velvet Brown, High-Tech Silver, Selenite Grey, Polar White, Diamond White Bright, and Alpine Gray Solid.
With a 170kW fast charger, it can be charged from 0-80 per cent in 32 minutes.
The electric car is equipped with many safety features like airbags (Window, Sidebags, Knee), pre-safe system, active steering assist, active lane-keeping assist, a 360-degree camera, a Mercedes-Benz emergency call system, and more.
The newly launched e-SUV will compete against the BMW iX, Jaguar i-Pace, and the recently-launched Audi Q8 e-tron.
