In terms of design, the Tata Punch features well-proportioned 16-inch alloy wheels and an aesthetically pleasing rear design. On the other hand, the Hyundai Exter showcases a more divisive rear end, characterized by numerous cuts and creases.
When it comes to technology and interior features, the Tata Punch boasts a well-equipped cabin with a layered dashboard featuring contrasting colors to break monotony. In contrast, the Exter sports an all-black interior with various textures, presenting a well-put-together appearance.
In terms of storage, the Exter provides 391 liters of boot space, surpassing the Punch's 366 liters. Both cars feature folding rear seats but lack the split-folding function.
The Punch includes a 7-inch touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, climate control, a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, rain-sensing wipers, auto headlamps, and even a sunroof. However, the Exter outshines with an extensive set of features, including an 8-inch touchscreen, a crisper driver display, multiple charging options, a wireless charger, and rear AC vents.
The Exter takes the lead in safety features, boasting six standard airbags, TPMS, dash cam, and more. While the Punch has already secured a 5-star safety rating from the Global NCAP.
The mileage of the Tata Punch ranges approximately between 18.8 Kmpl to 26.99 Kmpl, while the Hyundai Exter offers a mileage ranging from approximately 19.2 to 27.1 Kmpl.
Tata Punch is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10.10 lakh, whereas the Hyundai Exter falls within a similar price range, ranging from Rs. 6 lakh to Rs. 10.15 lakh.
