Japanese automaker Honda has unveiled a new global mid-sized SUV - Honda Elevate - in India on Tuesday, June 6. According to the company, the car is a strong and boldly stylish urban freestyler that is set to redefine urban adventures. With the highly-anticipated Elevate, Honda has re-entered the SUV segment in the country.
The automaker plans to launch Elevate over the next months, but an exact date has not been announced by the company.
The ex-showroom price of the newly-unveiled vehicle will be announced during the launch event. However, it is expected that the price will be between Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 15 lakhs.
The bookings of the mid-sized SUV will open in July 2023. Interested customers will then be able to book the car through the official website.
The newly unveiled Elevate is 4,312mm in length, 1,650mm high, and has a wheelbase of 2,650mm, which makes it almost similar to the Creta.
According to the company, the car has a bold stylish design, spacious premium interiors, and comfortable cabin.
The car gets a 7-inch semi-digital instrument cluster, lane-watch camera, wireless charging, wireless smartphone integration – Android Auto and Apple CarPlay – and a rear parking camera.
A fully-electric version of the Elevate will also be launched within three years, said the company.
Including a fully electric model, the automaker plans to launch five new SUVs in India by 2030.
