5 EV Cab Companies Offering Green Transport In 2023

Snap-E Cabs

Established in August 2022, Snap-E Cabs is an on-demand, app-based fleet of 100% Electric Vehicles (EV). Currently, it caters to the general population of Kolkata. It has a fleet of 600 cabs (Tata Tigor).

BluSmart

Founded in 2019, BluSmart procures its EV cars from Tata Motors. The company currently provides services across Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru. It aims to increase its EV car fleet to approximately 10,000 vehicles by March 2024.

Uber Green

Started in June 2023,  Uber Gree is available in Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru. It plans to add 25,000 electric cars over the next three years and 10,000 electric two-wheelers by 2024.

Prakriti Mobility/Evera Cabs

Founded in September 2019, the company had 250 Tigor EV/Xpres-Ts running on its platform, with Prakriti E Mobility owning 60% of the fleet as of November 2022. The company had signed a deal with Tata Motors to purchase 2,000 of these e-sedans by October 2023.

GoGreen Cabs 

Founded by women entrepreneurs, the company provides green mobility solutions throughout Nashik. According to the official website, Go Green’s vehicles travel over 15000 kilometres per month.
