Delhi CM Portfolio List: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s pick for the Chief Minister’s seat in the national capital, Rekha Gupta on February 20 announced portfolio allocations in her Council of Minister, hours after taking oath as CM. Gupta will be handling as many as 10 portfolios, including key portfolios including finance, land and building, general administration, and administrative reforms, and will also be responsible for any unallocated departments.

Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena gave the nod to the portfolio allocations in the Rekha Gupta government, according to an official notification.

Rekha Gupta sworn in as CM at Ramlila Maidan

Sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi, Gupta succeeds Aam Aadmi Party’s Atishi.

Gupta is the fourth woman chief minister of the national capital.

In the 2025 Delhi election that concluded on February 8, the centre-ruling Bharatiya Janata Party secured a landslide victory with 48 seats won out of the total 70 seats in the Assembly.

The incumbent party emerged the main opposition with 22 seats in the contest.
