In a message shared on X, Shah requested that all future communication be directed to his new address. "Hello everyone. I have switched to Zoho Mail. Kindly note the change in my email address. Earlier this year, the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) promoted indigenous platforms like Zoho through competitions and support, boosting homegrown digital solutions. Zoho’s suite, including Writer, Sheet, Show, and Mail, offers Indian alternatives to Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, aligning with the government’s push for digital sovereignty.

<h2>Centre, private sector embrace local alternatives</h2>
The homegrown apps system has been very successful with both government and private companies supporting it. UMANG is a platform that incorporates more than 100 public services; on the other hand, private companies like Ola have their products like Ola maps and Krutrim AI, which have made them less dependent on foreign tech powers.
"After Azure's exit last month, we've now fully exited Google Maps. We used to spend Rs 100 crore a year, but we've made that 0 this month by moving completely to our in-house Ola maps! Check your Ola app and update if needed," Ola co-founder Bhavish Aggarwal posted on X.

Zoho Mail is a solution for emails that are safe and don't come with annoying ads. The software is made available by Zoho Corporation, an Indian technology conglomerate with its headquarters in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The email service started providing its service in 2008 as a part of the broader Zoho Workplace set of applications, where users can find tools for editing and sharing documents as well as communicating.
Despite the fact that the service is hosted in India and the USA, the APIs and the whole infrastructure were developed by the Zoho Corporation. They are the main producer of the technology.
