<p>Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal on his official handle on X has shared the story of a young design student whose path from financial struggle to professional success reflects resilience, timing and determination.</p>
<p>Goyal recently posted a screenshot of a message he received from Atharv Singh, a final-year design student who described how he supported himself through college without family backing. Singh said he had to manage tuition fees, rent and daily expenses on his own, often uncertain about how he would make it through each month.</p>

<p>An Instagram advertisement announcing a hiring drive by Blinkit proved to be a turning point for Singh. He joined a nearby dark store and worked there for four months, a decision he said altered the course of his life.</p>
<p>“Life really comes in full circle,” he wrote.</p>
<p>Explaining his circumstances, Singh told Goyal, “I’m a 4th-year design student, I had to manage my own funds for college fees and rent and other expenses as my dad didn’t support my education.” Recalling his toughest phase, he added, “There was a time when I was not able to earn anything and life was still asking for more.”</p>

<p>Singh said his situation began to improve after he started working at Blinkit. “Life just kept getting better ever since,” he wrote.</p>
<p>That stability eventually led to a design role at Zomato, the same company ecosystem he once supported from the warehouse floor. Expressing his gratitude, Singh said, “Now here I’m, who worked as a picker in Blinkit, joining your design team at Zomato. Really grateful for what you’ve built and absolutely lucky to be a part of this! Just 1 per cent done, this Blinkit boy will now deliver design at Zomato.”</p>
