Sikandar Box Office Collection: Salman Khan’s latest movie “Sikandar” two-day earnings spark buzz about its performance

Fans were eagerly waiting for Salman Khan to return to the big screen. After almost two years, the Bollywood star made a comeback to surprise his fans, and could any other festival be better than Eid for his comeback? With Sikandar, which has finally hit the big screen with the highest occupancy rates in Mumbai, the Bollywood star has made a grand return, crossing Rs 7 crore in its first day. The film is currently running more than 7,800 shows across India. The movie starring Salman and Rashmika, as leads, directed by AR Murugadoss, has gotten a 7.2 rating on IMDb.

Salman Khan’s Sikandar hit theatres on Sunday, March 30. It marked his return to Eid releases after two years. After Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan failed in 2023, this was his chance to bounce back, but the film’s weak performance missed the mark.

Sikandar managed to cross Rs 50 crore worldwide on its opening day, which might have been impressive a decade ago. However, in today’s time, Bollywood films often earn that much just in India. Reports suggest that this also means it hasn’t recorded the biggest opening for an Indian film this year, falling behind the Malayalam thriller L2: Empuraan.

Sikandar's Worldwide Box Office Day 1 Collection

Even though Sikandar is Salman Khan's first Eid release in two years, it didn’t set any records with advance bookings. According to analysts' estimates, Sikandar earned Rs 26 crore net in India, less than Chhaava’s Rs 31 crore. Sikandar made Rs 41.25 crore worldwide on its first day. However, this number seems low for a star of his level.

Sikandar did well on its first day, earning around Rs 26 crore in India. Now, here are the film's 2nd-day box office collection and theater occupancy numbers. According to analysts' estimates, as of now, Sikandar earned around 3.68 crore in India net on its second day for all languages. In total, estimated to be 29.68 crore in two days, Day 1, 30 March & Day 2, March 31st.
