As 2026 draws closer, India is gearing up for a year packed with entertainment, from live music and blockbuster films to world-class sports events. Fans across the country can look forward to an action-packed calendar, with something for everyone—whether you’re a music lover, a movie buff, or a sports enthusiast.

The beginning of the year will bring a very interesting program of international music concerts. Grammy awarded guitarist John Mayer will likely be performing in Mumbai on January 22, while the legendary rock band Linkin Park will be playing in Bengaluru on January 23. Lollapalooza India, in its first-ever edition, will be held in Mumbai on January 24-25, bringing together various artists for two days of uninterrupted music.

Fans of electronic and pop music will have DJ Snake on February 14 to look forward to, while rock fans can catch Def Leppard performing in Mumbai and Bengaluru from March 25–29. This doesn't end here April promises more beats with Calvin Harris performing across Mumbai, Bengaluru, and the NCR from April 17 to 19. According to reports, the Lumineers, Lady Gaga, and Ed Sheeran may make appearances, ensuring a memorable year for concert-goers.

Movie buffs have much to look forward to as well. The Indian movie industry will start with Ikkis on January 1, followed by the action-heavy Border 2 on January 23. March will see Dhurandhar Part 2 in the cinemas on March 19, while April will bring the roller-coaster ride of Bhooth Bangla on April 2 and Battle of Galwan on April 17.

The summer and rainy seasons will have Jailer 2 among the most expected films releasing on June 12, while Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be the most anticipated Hollywood release on July 31.
