Prime Minister Narendra Modi filed his nomination papers from Varanasi parliamentary constituency today. He earlier met key National Democratic Alliance leaders at the Collectorate Office. In 2014, PM Modi had contested from both Varanasi and Gujarat’s Vadodara. Polls in Varanasi will be held on May 19 in the final phase.

Train 18, India's first engine-less train to be flagged off by PM Modi

India’s first engine-less semi-high speed train ‘Train 18’ has officially become the fastest train in India, cruising at speed of 180 kms per hour during a trial run. The train will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 29 December from his constituency Varanasi.
