The board of SBI earlier approved the merge plan under which SBBJ shareholders will get 28 shares of SBI (Re 1 each) for every 10 shares (Rs 10 each) held.

The five associate banks namely, State Bank of Travancore (SBT), State Bank of Mysore (SBM), State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH), State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (SBBJ), and State Bank of Patiala (SBP), have also demanded a settlement of the pending issues.
The three associate banks of SBI- State Bank of Mysore, State Bank of Travancore, State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur-are listed on the stock exchanges.
