The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets dairy brand Amul, has announced a price hike of Rs 2 per litre across all its milk variants. This marks Amul’s first hike since June 2024. The new rates will apply to several variants including Amul Standard Milk, Amul Gold, Amul Taaza, Amul Slim n Trim, Amul Cow Milk, Amul Buffalo Milk, and Amul Chai Mazza. The price adjustment comes as part of a routine market review, the company has said, and will be reflected across all retail outlets starting May 1, 2025. The price of The rate of Amul full cream milk has been increased to Rs 67 per litre from Rs 65 per litre and that of bulk-vended milk (or toned milk) by Rs 2 to Rs 55 per litre.

The oil marketing companies on Tuesday announced a hike in the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders, effective from today (October 1st), according to the sources. As per the official sources, the price of a 19 kg commercial LPG gas cylinder has been increased by ₹ 48.50, marking a significant rise for businesses and establishments that rely on these cylinders. Due to the increase in LPG cylinder prices, a 19 kg LPG cylinder now costs ₹ 1,740 in Delhi compared to ₹ 1,691.50 earlier.
