Indian Railways caught in this big row; workers' union fumes over Railways jobs "outsourcing"

The Railway workers also raised concerns over 100 per cent foreign direct investments (FDI) in the railways and said agreements with Alstom (France) and General Electric (USA) for manufacturing electric and diesel locomotives included contracts for maintenance by the foreign agencies for a period of 15 years.
