CHSE Odisha 12th exam 2020: Govt cancels remaining papers

The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), which organizes the plus-II examinations, has adopted an assessment scheme following the of guidelines laid down by a committee of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for the cancelled papers.

Cyclone Amphan: Heavy rain, strong winds in coastal Odisha

According to reports, trees were uprooted and power infrastructure suffered damage following strong winds in the coastal districts. Paradip recorded the highest wind speed of 102 kmph followed by Chandbali with 74 kmph, Balasore 61 kmph, and Bhubaneswar 56kmph.

Odisha govt approves Rs 17.5 cr for 587 police stations

All the 44 police stations under the Cuttack-Bhubaneswar Commissionerate Police will each get Rs 40,000 a month, 142 police stations in urban areas Rs 30,000 each, and 351 police stations in rural areas Rs 20,000 each, according to a release from the Chief Minister`s Office.
