Nipah virus Kerala: The Kerala government has strengthened measures to prevent the spread of Nipah infection after the brain-damaging virus killed two people and infected two others in this north Kerala district.
The Minister said that the first person's samples were not sent but since the second deceased person is positive, the first is also naturally positive. It will be considered as index case, she added.
