IT firm Larsen &amp; Toubro Infotech (LTI) on Wednesday said its chief financial officer Ashok Kumar Sonthalia has resigned from the company. "...The Board of Directors in its meeting held on January 19, 2021, inter-alia considered the resignation of Mr Ashok Kumar Sonthalia, CFO of the company, on account of personal reasons and accepted the same to be effective from close of business hours of January 25, 2021," a regulatory filing said.

Motilal Oswal sees L&amp;T Infotech announcement of independent business units for its Cloud and Data Products as a very interesting development. Given a similar strategy being adopted by large-cap peers like TCS and Infosys, Motilal Oswal views this as a positional play by the company in addition to the growth opportunity. Creating separate teams to focus on the top three hyperscalers, along with Cloud reference models for the sub-industry should help L&amp;T Infotech benefit from a multi-year Cloud migration opportunity.
