The IPO received bid of around 8,47,58,880 shares as against 1,22,50,000 shares on offer.&nbsp;Qualified institutional buyers (QIBs) put in bids for 5,41,19,860 shares oversubscribing their quota by 15.46 times.&nbsp;

L&T Infotech IPO is seven-times oversubscribed 

Domestic institutional investors's quota in QIB was subscribed 1.76 times against the reserved 35,00,000 shares.&nbsp; From the total, foreign institutional investors bid stood at 50,42,360 shares; while that of DFI was around 11,26,760 shares.

L&T Infotech IPO over-subscribed on first day 

National Stock Exchange (NSE) data showed that by&nbsp;12.27 pm, 50.32 lakh shares were subscribed by FIIs. This is 1.44 times the shares allocated for FIIs.&nbsp;

L&T Infotech IPO: Foreign investors bid heavily 

The IPO opens on Monday July 11, 2016 and will close on&nbsp;Wednesday July 13, 2016. The price band for the issue has been fixed at Rs. 705 to Rs. 710 (discount of Rs10/sh on issue price to eligible retail applicants).&nbsp;The IPO type is offer for sale from existing shareholders and it is expected to dilute around 10.3% in promoter’s stake to 84.6% from the current 94.94%.

The issue involves 75% of qualified institutional buyer (QIB) amounting Rs. 300 crore, while non-institutional buyer holds 15% with Rs 60 crore and around 10% is reserved for retail at Rs 40 crore.

In the data, Qualified institutional buyers (QIB) recorded bid of around 89,07,395 which 1.82 times from 48,98,900 shares offered. The Non-institutional investors managed to withdraw around 23% of the reserved shares.
