Aviation regulator DGCA on Wednesday asked airlines to provide an indicative timeline required for implementing the revised flight duty norms for pilots. In March, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) deferred the implementation of the Flight Duty Time Limitations (FDTL) norms amid airlines seeking more time for implementing them.

Vistara Flight Cancellation: In total, Vistara has cancelled over 100 flights in the last two days due to a group of pilots reporting sick in protest of the revised pay structure, and the aviation regulator DGCA has requested that the carrier submit a daily report on the cancellations and delays.
The sources said at least 15 senior first officers resigned from Vistara and joined a domestic budget carrier.
