IndiGo offers 15% discount on flights, deadline looms; 10 points

Domestic budget carrier IndiGo is offering up to 15 per cent discount on domestic and international flight tickets, said the airline website. The interested flyers can do the booking till August 30, 2018, for the travel period that starts on September 8, and ends on October 8, 2018.

Big setback for IndiGo, sixth A320 neo aircraft grounded

Earlier on July 25, the airline grounded five A320 neo aircraft due to Pratt & Whitney engine issues, stating that they were expected to be back in operations in the second half of August. An IndiGo spokesperson had said that five A320 neos have been taken out of service pro-actively and they await spare engines from Pratt & Whitney.

IndiGo will connect Bengaluru with Raipur on every Tuesday. The flight will leave Bengaluru at 5 am and arrive at the Chhattisgarh capital at 6.50 am. In the return direction, the flight will leave Raipur at 7.20 am and arrive Bengaluru at 9.10 am, the airline said in the statement.
