February 2020 can be the month of sub-brands in the Indian market. The first week of the month saw the launch of Poco X2, as the company's first smartphone after splitting from Xiaomi. Later this month, iQoo is set to launch its first smartphone in the country as an independent brand, despite operating as Vivo's sub-brand in China. Realme has already achieved massive success since separating from Oppo. Other brands like Huawei's Honor continue to operate as sub-brands. This week, we sat down to understand - what are sub-brands?
