Sporting large displays, big batteries, high-resolution cameras, Redmi Note 5 Pro is, in fact, one of the few smartphones with 6GB RAM under Rs 20,000, and stated to be the best smartphone under this price tag. 

Among other features, the dual-SIM Redmi Note 5 Pro, which runs MIUI 9 based on Android Nougat, has an identical 5.99-inch full-HD (1080x2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D curved glass. Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC, it is coupled with Adreno 509 GPU.

The presence of the Snapdragon 636 SoC is stated to make this phone "fastest Redmi Note ever" with an AnTuTu score of 109,692. The new smartphone also has a rear-facing fingerprint sensor, besides face unlock feature through a recent update.

The handset also boasts of 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, 3.5mm headphone jack, and Micro-USB.

Being launched only in October 2018, the phone has been priced at Rs 14,999 for 4GB+64GB, Rs 16,999 6GB+64GB and Rs 18,999 for 6GB+128GB variant.

The phone features a 16 MP front camera and 20MP+2MP AI-powered Dual-lens rear camera. "AI camera on Honor 8X recognises 22 different categories and 500 different scenarios with Scene Recognition," said the company.

The dual-SIM phone has dedicated slots for two SIMs and Memory card. The storage can be expanded up to 528GB. 

The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch full-HD Plus screen, HiSilicon Kirin 710 chipset and a 3750 mAh battery. 

Honor claimed that the phone is equipped with an Elevator Mode to reconnects to 4G networks within 3 Seconds in case of loss of connectivity. It also has a TUV Rheinland Certification for Eye Protection.

Honor 8X comes in three colours - Red, Blue and Black.

This smartphone was launched in the month of April of this year and it challenges the low-budget smartphone maker Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro which is also a Chinese mobile. This phone is priced at Rs 14,999 in 6GB RAM with 64GB storage.   

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 sports a 5.99-inch Full HD+ display, which is possibly the best one in this price range. The display also has a 2.5D curved glass on top. The device is powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC and works in tandem.

Coming to the design, the phone reportedly has been given a unimetal body design and runs on a 5000mAh battery. The phone feels light on hands. A 10W charger comes in the retail box with the phone. 

 

Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 offers dual 4G support and recently picked up Airtel, Idea and Vodafone VoLTE support. It also offers Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB port at the bottom with USB OTG support, as per the report.

There is a 16MP primary camera at the back which is paired with a 5MP depth sensor. On the other hand, an 16MP shooter is present on the front, which also comes with Portrait mode functionality, the report added.

Prices start at Rs 13,990 for 4GB variant and Rs 15,990 for 6GB RAM variant, the smartphone comes with a Dewdrop Notch display.
