WhatsApp Low-Light Video Calling Mode: Though several users might have observed a couple of new filters and backgrounds, many people might have missed the Low-Light Mode. It is quite a unique feature among all as it provides improved visibility in poor lighting environments. The feature also makes sure that WhatsApp users can connect clearly irrespective of lighting settings. 

WhatsApp Low-Light Video Calling Mode:  The Low-Light Mode feature has been developed to enhance video clarity in dark settings. As per the report, during testing, it majorly boosted brightness, illuminating faces and easing graininess. It guarantees that friends and family can view calls clearly, irrespective of the lighting conditions.

Step 1: To activate the feature, launch WhatsApp and initiate a video call

Step 2: Widen the video feed to full-screen

Step 3: Click on the 'Bulb' icon located at the top right side of the screen 

Step 4: Now the Low-Light Mode will be enabled on the device

Step 5: Click on the Bulb icon again to disable the feature

The new feature Low-Light Mode is available on both iOS and Android variants of WhatsApp. 

However, it is not accessible on the Windows app version. Windows users need to manually change brightness levels for their video calls if required.

It is essential to know that this new feature needs to be enabled for each video call as there is no provision for keeping it activated permanently yet. The interface lets users swiftly enable this tool as required during their video calls. 

The popular messaging app intends to improve the quality of video calling and provide an easier, clearer, and smoother video-calling experience with family and friends even in dimly lit conditions.
