The social media platform's website and mobile app were not loading or refreshing properly. According to the outage tracking website Downdetector.com, there was a sudden surge in complaints about X not working after users flagged issues ranging from login failures to timelines not updating.
According to Downdetector, 46 per cent of users faced issues logging in via the website, while 45 per cent of users faced issues via the app.
