Have you ever been in a situation where you mistakenly deleted a WhatsApp message and didn't know what to do to get it back? From now on, that won't be the case. Here is a WhatsApp trick that allows you to read deleted messages. Even though the Facebook-owned instant messaging platform allows its users to delete messages from both individual and group chats across Android, iOS and Windows phones, these WhatsApp messages aren't gone forever. The message is actually stored on your phone and can be uncovered using WhatsApp's backup feature.
By default, WhatsApp backs up all your data at 2 am every morning. However, the users can change the frequency of back ups to just weekly or monthly. Here are the steps you need to follow to read deleted messages from your phone -
- Uninstall WhatsApp and then install it again from your device's app store.
- After logging in, you will be given an option to restore chats from backup.

- The same could be done using third party apps as well. But the apps do have their limitations.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp and Facebook are working on a new feature that would bring the two platforms closer. The latest feature makes it easier to share Facebook posts with WhatsApp contacts. While the feature already exists, the new alteration has made it more refined. After the improvement, the users will be able to share their Facebook posts with a single tap. A "Send in WhatsApp" will appear on Facebook posts for those who have enabled a “public” privacy setting in their News Feed. The option will only be available if you have WhatsApp installed on your phone.
