But, what if you could get your hands on the smartphone before its official launch? Xiaomi India announced Mi Explorers 2019 on Thursday. The Mi Explorers 2019 is a program that allows interested users to try the Redmi K20 Pro before the smartphone is officially launched in India.
"Are you the one who goes beyond the limits? Breaks down the barriers to the dirt? Pushes boundaries to achieve the extraordinary feat? The one who has the vision to capture the breathtaking? If yes, apply now to become the Redmi K20 Pro Explorer and get ready to pioneer the unexplored," the Xiaomi website says.
As part of the program, Xiaomi India is asking users to apply for the Redmi K20 Pro Explorer program and be the first one to use the upcoming "flagship killer". To apply for the same, users can visit this link - in.event.mi.com and search for Mi Explorers 2019 tab. The registration for the Redmi K20 Pro Explorer program began on June 20.The users can register for the Redmi K20 Pro Explorer program by June 22 - 23:59:59 hours.
Xiaomi has announced that the company will select only 48 explorers for the Redmi K20 Pro Explorer program. So, in case you want to apply for it, you need to hurry up.
"During the selection process, applicant's Mi Community profile, as well as social media handles, will be evaluated in order to find out their level of engagement, competency, & ability to generate quality submissions in the context of 'Mi Explorers 2019', so we would like to request you to keep all your social media handles open to public," the Chinese smartphone manufacturer says on its official website.
Xiaomi will notify the qualified applicants on June 25 via an email.
