Samsung launches Galaxy M16 5G, Galaxy M06 5G in India with segment-leading features; here's everything you need to know

Samsung Galaxy M16 5G, Galaxy M06 5G Launched: Samsung, on Thursday, February 27, launched two new smartphones in the Indian market: the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G. These devices come with several segment-leading features and are the latest additions to the immensely popular Galaxy M series, according to the official release.

Commenting on the launch, Akshay S Rao, General Manager, MX Business, Samsung India, said, "With a refreshed design, these devices are built to enhance both style and performance, featuring MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and full 5G support across operators."

He further added, "The Galaxy M16 5G also sets a new benchmark with a segment-leading FHD+ Super AMOLED display, six generations of OS upgrades, and the introduction of Samsung Wallet with Tap & Pay functionality."

- The Galaxy M16 5G features a segment-leading 6.7” Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with adaptive high-brightness mode.

- The Galaxy M06 5G features a 6.7” HD+ display.

- The Galaxy M16 5G is 7.9 mm slim, while the Galaxy M06 5G is slightly thicker at 8 mm.
- The Galaxy M16 5G will be available in three bold and refreshing colours: Blush Pink, Mint Green, and Thunder Black. 
- The Galaxy M06 5G comes in two stylish colours: Sage Green and Blazing Black.

- Both devices are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor and support segment-leading 5G bands, ensuring fast and reliable connectivity.

- The Galaxy M16 5G boasts a segment-leading 50MP main camera, accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide lens and a 2MP macro camera. It also features a 13MP front camera for high-quality selfies.
- The Galaxy M06 5G is equipped with a high-resolution 50MP wide-angle lens with an F1.8 aperture, along with a 2MP depth camera. It also has an 8MP front camera for selfies.
