Oppo set to launch K13 today; here are 5 key things to know

OPPO K13 Launch Today: OPPO India is all set to launch the OPPO K13 today, April 21. Here's what we already know about this upcoming phone -

OPPO K13: Processor

According to the company, the OPPO K13 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 chipset, built on a power-efficient 4nm process, the first 6-series chip to be manufactured on TSMC’s advanced node. It is paired with the Adreno A810 GPU, LPDDR4X RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage.

OPPO K13: Battery

The device is powered by a 7000mAh battery paired with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. In just 5 minutes of charging, users can expect up to four hours of gaming, the company claimed. The device reaches 62 per cent in 30 minutes and a full charge in under an hour, it added.

OPPO K13: Display

It has a 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness. It has a Wet Touch Mode that allows the screen to remain responsive even with water or oil on the surface, said the official release.

"Whether it’s for gaming, streaming, shooting content, or staying connected on the move, the K13 offers the kind of OP experience typically associated with far more expensive phones," the official release claimed.

What sets the K13 further apart? 

What sets the K13 further apart, according to the company, is its advanced thermal management system. It boasts a 5,700mm² Vapor Chamber combined with a 6,000mm² graphite sheet, delivering flagship-grade cooling performance. This setup helps prevent performance throttling and lag due to heat buildup, ensuring smooth operation even during extended gaming sessions, it added. Such thermal efficiency is typically found in premium smartphones, but the K13 brings this high-end feature to the mainstream segment, it claimed.

OPPO K13: Expected Price

According to the company, the device will redefine smartphones under the Rs 20,000 segment.
