Oppo Reno 14 Series launched in India; camera-focused 5G smartphone with AI upgrades

Oppo has officially launched its latest Reno 14 series in India, expanding its mid-range smartphone lineup with two new models—Reno 14 Pro 5G and Reno 14 5G. Designed to offer flagship-like camera performance and modern aesthetics, the new Reno 14 series will compete with rival brands like Vivo, Samsung, iQOO, Nothing, and Redmi in the feature-rich segment.

Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G

The Oppo Reno 14 Pro 5G is priced at Rs 49,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the higher 12GB + 512GB model is priced at Rs 54,999. It will be available in Pearl White and Titanium Grey colour options.

The Reno 14 Pro runs on the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8450 SoC, paired with up to 12GB RAM and up to 512GB internal storage. It features a 6.83-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness of 1,200 nits, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.

Camera duties are handled by a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens. The front gets a 50MP selfie shooter.

The device is backed by a 6,200mAh battery, with 80W SuperVOOC wired and 50W AirVOOC wireless charging support. It also comes with IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and runs Android 15-based ColorOS 15.0.2 with built-in Google Gemini AI tools like AI Unblur and AI Recompose.

Oppo Reno 14 5G

The Oppo Reno 14 5G starts at Rs 37,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB models are priced at Rs 39,999 and Rs 42,999 respectively. Colour options include Forest Green and Pearl White.

This standard model is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 SoC and features a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display. It houses a 6,000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging, though wireless charging is not included.

Its camera setup is similar to the Pro model but swaps the ultrawide sensor for an 8MP unit. The phone also shares the same Android 15-based software and build quality.

Availability

Both the Reno 14 Pro 5G and Reno 14 5G will go on sale in India starting July 8, 2025, via Oppo India’s website, Amazon, and select offline retail outlets across the country.
