OnePlus Nord 5 Series Launch Date Announced: OnePlus on Monday, June 16, announced the launch date of its three upcoming products in India - OnePlus Nord 5, OnePlus Nord CE5, and OnePlus Buds 4. The Nord 5 series is set to launch on July 8 at 2 pm IST. According to the company, this "series marks a significant leap forward in mid-range smartphone performance, making flagship-grade power accessible to consumers."

OnePlus Nord 5 to feature Snapdragon 8-Series chipset

Ahead of the official launch, the company revealed that the OnePlus Nord 5 will be powered by the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 Mobile Platform, featuring a 4nm architecture and flagship Kryo CPU, paired with LPDDR5X RAM. With this, the OnePlus Nord 5 will become the first device in the Nord series to feature a Snapdragon 8-Series chipset.

OnePlus Nord 5: Snapdragon Elite Gaming

Also, the company revealed that the OnePlus Nord 5 will support Snapdragon Elite Gaming, including hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing. This enables the device to deliver robust performance for leading mobile games like BGMI and Call of Duty. 

OnePlus Nord 5: Graphene Cooling Like OnePlus 13

To maintain peak performance, the OnePlus Nord 5 will feature a category-leading thermal management system with Cryo-Velocity VC cooling, offering a 7,300 mm² heat dissipation surface area, the company informed. It also includes flagship-grade graphene thermal technology, similar to the OnePlus 13, delivering a thermal conductivity of 1,800 W/m-K. According to the company, "This comprehensive cooling solution covers all key heat sources including CPU, cameras, and battery, ensuring consistently smooth performance even during intensive use and gameplay."

OnePlus Buds 4

The upcoming OnePlus Buds 4 will offer dual drivers, dual DAC, high-res LHDC 5.0, 3D audio, and will be available in two colour options: Zen Green and Storm Grey. For gamers, it will offer 47ms ultra-low latency in Game Mode.
