Mi Beard Trimmer priced at Rs 1,199 on launch in India as Xiaomi enters another product category

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi has announced its entry into yet another product category in India - personal grooming - by announcing the Mi Beard Trimmer on Tuesday. The product was announced through a music-video style launch featuring Xiaomi India employees. Made exclusively for India, the Mi Beard Trimmer comes with two combs and a total of 40 length settings. It also has support for corded as well as cordless use. The company claims that even a 5-minute charge allows you to use the trimmer for 10 minutes. Mi Beard Trimmer can be charged using a USB adaptor or Mi Power Bank.

It comes with IPX7 certification which means that it can withstand submersion in water for up to 1 meter for 30 minutes making it fully washable. The Mi Beard Trimmer price in India has been set at Rs 1,199. It is available for purchase starting today, 12:05pm on Mi.com. You can also purchase it through an open sale at Amazon, Mi Homes starting June 27 at 12 noon.
