iQOO, one of the few smartphone brands making significant inroads into the Indian market, has announced the upcoming launch of IQOO 13 in India. The smartphone manufacturer has already confirmed that the iQOO 13 will feature the latest octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Nipun Marya, CEO of iQOO India, took to a social media platform today to announce the launch date of the highly anticipated device. According to information shared, the iQOO 13 will be launched on December 3, 2024.

Already unveiled on October 30 in China, the device is expected to sport the same design and key specifications in India.

Expected specifications for this device include a Halo light feature and a 2K LTPO AMOLED display panel with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is also going to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC paired with a Q2 gaming chipset. 
Notably, the iQOO 13 could be only the second Snapdragon 8 Elite powered device in India, following the Realme GT 7 Pro. 
In China, the iQOO 13 has been launched with the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, an in-house Q2 gaming chipset, and up to 16GB of RAM. The internal storage of the device can be expanded to up to 1TB. The device runs on Android 15-based OriginOS 5, and In India, it will likely come with a FuntouchOS 15 skin. Additionally, the handset will feature a 6,150mAh battery with 120W wired fast charging support.
