iQOO 13 launch soon:  iQOO is all set to launch its next flagship smartphone - iQOO 13. This smartphone is in focus as it will be powered by the latest octa-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Also, the smartphones will run on Android 15 based Funtouch OS 15 and the company has unveiled additional OS features that will be seen in this upcoming flagship.

iQOO 13 launch date in India

The company has already announced that the smartphone will be launched on December 3, 2024. For the uninitiated, the device has already been unveiled in China (on October 30, 2024) and is expected to sport the same design and specifications in India.

iQOO 13: Funtouch OS 15

Funtouch OS 15 offers a considerable upgrade compared to Funtouch OS 14, with the longest-ever support of 4 years of Android and 5 years of security updates. It also comes with a slew of AI features and a clean interface.

Funtouch OS 15: iQOO’s AI

According to the company, FunTouch OS 15 boasts of the AI Photo Enhance feature, an intuitive AI algorithm that automatically analyses photo content and adjusts parameters such as brightness, contrast, colour saturation and white balance.

The Instant Text feature allows users to Extract, Copy and Share Text content from any image whereas Instant Cutout helps to cut out and Create instantly by extracting a subject from an image and separating it from its background. 

The AI Photo Enhance allows users to automatically enhance photo quality and AI Super document removes shadows from documents using AI-powered tools. With Circle To Search users can simply circle the content they are interested in and immediately receive relevant search results. 

Funtouch OS 15: Customization

Funtouch OS 15 enables full UI customization with over 3,800+ design elements, including live and static wallpapers, new fingerprint unlock animations, themes and Always On Display. Users can further personalise their experience by setting local videos as live wallpapers and choosing a call background from 5 different options. Icon personalisation is also enhanced with different icon styles, showing or hiding icon names with Show Icon Name switch and new Home Screen Clock Widgets.
