GoPro Hero 9 Black goes on sale in India at Rs 49,500: Check price, other details

A month after the launch, GoPro has put its latest action camera - the GoPro Hero 9 Black – on sale in India. The flagship level smart camera comes with significant upgrades over last year’s Hero8 Black which include a new sensor, 5K video encoding and the capability to shoot 20MP photos. The company also claims to have improved its stabilisation technology with Hypersmooth 3.0.

GoPro Hero 9 Black is available at an Rs 49,500 at GoPro's select retail partners - Amazon, Flipkart, Chroma and select imaging stores across India. The customers with American Express cards can avail a flat discount of Rs 5000 upon purchase of the Hero 9 Black. RBL Bank cardholders (credit and debit) can also avail Rs 5000 discount on the price of the product. Other offers include 5% off on select Axis Bank cards and 10% off for select Federal Bank customers.

GoPro Hero 9 Black features a new 23.5-megapixel sensor that delivers 5K video and 20-megapixel photos, next-generation HyperSmooth 3.0 video stabilization with in-camera horizon leveling, TimeWarp 3.0 featuring Real Speed and Half Speed, a new 1.4-inch front-facing display, a 2.27-inch larger rear display, 30% more battery life, and a Max Lens Mod accessory that brings Max HyperSmooth video stabilization and Max SuperView ultra wide-angle photo and video to Hero 9 Black.  

The camera features 1080p Live Streaming and Webcam mode. Hero 9 Black is packed with power tools such as HindSight, LiveBurst, Scheduled Capture and Duration Capture. The voice control supports 14 commands in 11 languages + 6 accents.  

There are 3 microphones with advanced wind-noise reduction, stereo + RAW audio, and larger speaker for improved audio playback. Removable lens cover is brought back in the Hero 9 Black with exciting addition of built-in folding mounting fingers. This latest action camera allows you to be as adventurous as you can as it is rugged and waterproof up to 33ft (10m).
