The computer program, which has served as a go-to for many across industries in the recent past, was unavailable for several users, triggering messages on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter). Disruptions occurred around 4:45-5:15 pm in India, as reported by different groups of users.
"ChatGPT seems to be down at the moment... Bad gateway - The web server reported a bad gateway error," a user claimed to have received the message on their screen while trying to access the application.
Several users also took to microblogging site X to describe their inability to access the tool, with many reporting delayed turnaround time in accessing the site/tool.
