BGMI update: The most popular mobile gaming platform Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) is facing problems with log-in. The gaming company Krafton has even acknowledged the issue and has released a statement about the error. The login issue started popping on December 29

"We have identified some players are experiencing login failure from 21:00PM, Dec 29 with an error message showing "Server authentication error. Login failed". We are currently trying to fix the issue and will get back to you as soon as possible when fixed. We apologize for the inconvenience," Battleground Mobile India said in the statement.

"We have fixed the issue. Please try to log in again. We apologize again for the inconvenience you have experienced. We are continuously trying to find the cause of the issue, but taking a time. We will promptly get back to you with a notice once the cause has been found or fixed," Battleground Mobile India further added.

How to clear BGMI cache on Android devices

-To clear the cache of the installed game, the player has to go to the settings of your smartphone. 

-Then go to App Management. You can find the BGMI app in the App Management section.

By clicking on the app, you will have to go to App Info. Here, you will see the option of Clear Cache. By tapping on clear cache, you will have to come back to the main screen. Now try launching the game once again.

Earlier this week, BGMI permanently banned 58,611 accounts in a span of just six days from December 20 to December 26. The gaming platform also listed the nicknames of the gamers who were found cheating in order to dissuade them from doing the same mistake again.
