In today’s social media-driven world, professionals often receive messages seeking advice, but few respond. Unikon.ai solves this by incentivizing professionals to engage in conversations, allowing them to earn money for their time.

​Founded by Palash Arneja, Akash Anand, and Sumit in early 2024. The idea was born from the low response rates on LinkedIn DMs. It took six months to develop the technology behind Unikon.ai.

Palash Arneja

Background in finance and banking, with experience at Swiss Bank, HSBC, and Deloitte. Became a CA before the age of 21 and eventually co-founded Unikon.ai.

Akash Anand and Sumit

Akash is the founder of Bella Vita, a well-known brand. Sumit created Zecpe, a buy-now-pay-later solution later acquired by Cashfree.

Users can register on Unikon.ai to sell their skills via chat, audio, or video calls. Users set their own rates, with Unikon.ai taking a 20% commission. Earnings are visible in the user’s wallet and can be withdrawn after 24 hours.

Uniseek: Users can upload short videos explaining their needs, allowing professionals to connect and offer help for a fee. Unishorts: Listen to short clips of conversations between two people. Full conversations can be accessed by swiping right. Unishow: Host or join webinars, events, or shows on the platform. UniKonnect: A directory of professionals with filters and ratings to help users find the right person to connect with.

Angel Investors: Unikon.ai secured funding from over 40 angel investors, including notable names like Nikhil Kamat, Piyush Bansal, and Tanmay Bhatt. Ananta Capital was an early supporter, providing initial funding.

Early Success: The app achieved 5,000 downloads on its first day.

​Team Size: Unikon.ai currently has a team of about 50 people. App Testing: Palash recruited 3,000 students for app testing through a bug bounty competition, leading to the identification of 700 bugs that improved the app.
