Sonipat Real Estate Boom:The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, led by Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, has approved the extension of the Delhi Metro’s Yellow Line from Samaypur Badli to Sonipat. This will provide a direct connection between Sonipat — one of the fastest developing cities in NCR- and the main metro network of Delhi.
With this approval, the DMRC will start working on the Detailed Project Report (DPR). Once implemented, this metro line can create an excellent infrastructure base and give a major boost to the local economy. Experts opine that such a development can very well put Sonipat ahead of Gurugram in terms of real estate and business opportunities.
Earlier considered just another small town near Delhi, Sonipat is fast changing. The extending metro railway line stands to greatly assist the city in growing beyond its direct line, which would put it onto the map as a real hot spot for home buyers, businesses, and young families seeking better job options and affordable living alternatives.
