Mumbai Real Estate: Mahindra Lifespace Developers Limited (MLDL), the real estate and infrastructure development arm of the Mahindra Group, said that it has been chosen as the primary developer for the significant residential redevelopment project in Matunga, Mumbai. The project area measures about 1.53 acres with a gross development value (GDV) of approximately Rs 1,010 crore, which in turn intensifies Mahindra Lifespaces' already strong position in the micro-market of Mumbai.

According to the announcement made by the company via the stock exchange, the new project will turn the current housing cluster into a completely new, modern community with better infrastructure, modern design, and enhanced lifestyle amenities.

Strategically located in Matunga, the site enjoys excellent connectivity to key social and business hubs, along with proximity to Shivaji Park, reputed educational institutions, healthcare facilities, retail destinations, and metro links.

Shares of Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd closed in red at Rs 418.55 apiece, down by 0.48 per cent from the previous close of Rs 420.55.

The scrip has risen 2.45 per cent in the past month; however, it has declined 1.67 per cent on a year-to-date (YTD) basis.
