March 15 is the last date to pay advance tax for the financial year 2025–26. Taxpayers whose tax liability exceeds ₹10,000 after TDS must pay advance tax during the financial year in instalments. If the payment is delayed, the Income Tax Department can charge interest of up to 1 percent
