Revised New Tax Slabs: Proposed tax slabs under the new tax regime provide a full tax relaxation for non-salaried class individuals earning up to Rs 12 lakh a year and salaried individuals earning up to Rs 12.75 lakh a year. The proposed slabs will be applicable for the Financial Year 2025-26. A large non-salaried and salaried class won't have to pay any tax once these slabs come into effect. But what if the income crosses the Rs 12.75 lakh limit? Is there any way to make it tax-free? What if someone earns Rs 15.25 lakh a year? Can they make their income tax-free?
