National Pension Scheme (NPS) is an investment scheme that helps investors save tax while building corpus for their sunset years. Under the scheme, there are four investment options, including equity, corporate debt, government securities and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs). As per Value Research data, NPS Tier-I equity plans have offered return in the range of 19.84-22.79 per cent. Earlier then there were 7 NPS fund managers or PFM which have now increased to 10 as of now.
1/7UTI Pension Fund offered a return of 22.79 per cent over a 5-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the scheme would have turned to Rs 9,35,920 with a SIP return of 17.94 per cent. AUM of the scheme is currently Rs 4,464 crore.
2/7ICICI Prudential Pension Fund offered a return of 22.67 per cent over a 5-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the scheme is now worth Rs 9,27,560 in 5 years at a SIP return of 17.57 per cent. AUM of the scheme is currently Rs 20,603 crore.
3/7Kotak Pension Fund offered a return of 22.46 per cent over a 5-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the scheme would have turned to Rs 9,31,150 in 5 years at a SIP return of 17.72 per cent. AUM of the scheme is currently Rs 3,011 crore.
4/7LIC Pension Fund offered a return of 22.21 per cent over a 5-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the scheme would have turned to Rs 9,09,520 in 5 years at a SIP return of 16.76 per cent. AUM of the scheme is currently Rs 6,628 crore.
5/7HDFC Pension Fund offered a return of 21.63 per cent over a 5-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the scheme would have turned to Rs 908,190 in 5 years at a SIP return of 16.7 per cent. AUM of the scheme is currently Rs 56,982 crore.
6/7Aditya Birla Sun Life Pension Scheme offered a return of 20.44 per cent over a 5-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the scheme would have turned to Rs 8,93,640 in 5 years at a SIP return of 16.04 per cent. AUM of the scheme is currently Rs 1,604 crore.
7/7SBI Pension Scheme offered a return of 19.84 per cent over a 5-year period. A monthly SIP of Rs 10,000 in the scheme would have turned to Rs 8,58,930 in 5 years at a SIP return of 14.42 per cent. AUM of the scheme is currently Rs 22,376 crore.
